Fartmageddon 牛放屁末日說

動物放屁造成全球溫度升高，學者早有先見之明：據香港《信報》評論家林行止，在《老手新丁》一書所述，印第安那大學教授巴拉賽（Simon C. Brassel）在一九九○年曾提出理論：


恐龍之所以會突然滅絕，是因為牠們放太多屁，熱氣直衝天際，令距今七千五百萬年至八千萬年前，出現比現在還嚴重數百倍的溫室效應，恐龍在高升氣溫下被熱死。


研究「放屁文化史」的專家道森（Jim Dawson），在《尷尬的氣味》（Who cut the cheese?）一書也稱，恐龍放屁大大增加空氣所含的甲烷及硫化氫含量，使全球氣溫提高，否則地球恐怕還未脫離冰河時期。

本來我對牛放屁之說還半信半疑.....

Idol Gives Back

前兩天看 Idol Gives Back, 有幾個感觸:

1. 我 的新太陽眼鏡可以救活 6 家人免於瘧疾的威脅, that's about 25 people.... 但是我卻買了這個眼鏡 (雖然我之前就買了). Granted, I worked hard and I deserve it; and yet millions of people aren't even given a chance of survival. Maybe we should be more responsible in helping out the less fortunate.
2. The ending song is "Shout To The Lord", a vary familiar song (even for me with an outdated gospel song collection). As I watch the contestants sing, my mind wonders. Are they true believers? Are they qualified? Then I thought about Mariah Carey's New Song I Wish You Well (audio/lyrics), and I also wonder whether MC is qualified to write/sing songs like that.... then I realized it's not about how good you are, but rather it's everyone welcome....
   
   But still it doesn't change my mind.

補 PS. 我愛你觀後感

(飛機上) 一開始兩個人一直在吵架，於是我就轉台了
對劇情沒有事先了解的我，轉台看了２分鐘後回來....

"怎麼搞的？男主角死了？我不是才轉台２分鐘嗎？"

從第一封情書一路哭到結尾....
天啊，在飛機上哭是很痛苦的事情！眼睛乾到爆！

It's cool, it is entertaining, it makes sense and it has a message. It is 125 minutes long but it feels like 90 minutes.

I really enjoyed watching it, and I think it's in some way more fun than The Transformers!

沒有進入狀況是馬英九的不對,但是還沒開始做就詛咒賣台,還沒上台就被喊下台,這些騷動人民對彼此不信任的政客,不管藍綠,都應該被唾棄!

台灣的文化在哪裡

才從有2000多年歷史的意大利回來，接著風塵僕僕的去六朝古都南京。
看著東西方兩個古國個歷史文物，再看這兩國深厚的文化底蘊， 在各方面所造成的深遠影響
我不禁要問，臺灣要靠什麼，釋放出如此有深度的能量？
如果如果真的擺脫政治家一直在吵的"中國文化",或是華人儒家文化，那臺灣自己的文化,
到底是什麼？
